Investing resources into climate change adaptation should be done as effectively as possible.
That much is obvious. What isn’t always so obvious is how do we know it has been effective?
Monitoring and evaluation needs both a high-level conceptual understanding of the different climate change adaptation contexts. It also requires an understanding of how adaptive actions are integrated within, or implemented in addition to, other non-climate change activities. This rapidly emerging area of practice requires an in-depth understanding of real-life adaptation projects and programs.
At Adaptive Futures, we have both high-level conceptual understanding and real-life adaptation experience to help organisations monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of adaptation actions.
